Vegas Man Charged With DUI in Crash With Jennifer Lopez

A Las Vegas man was charged in California on Monday with driving under the influence after crashing into singer and actress Jennifer Lopez's Rolls-Royce in September, according to prosecutors. Robert John Reitz, 53, was charged with driving under the influence and driving with a .08 percent blood alcohol content, according to a statement from the Los Angeles County district attorney's office. Reitz was accused of having a blood alcohol concentration of .15 percent when he crashed into the luxury vehicle, the statement said. He was expected to be arraigned later Monday and could face up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine, according to the district attorney's office.

Lopez posted on Instagram about the Sept. 27 incident in Malibu, adding the hashtag "#DontdrinkandDrive!!!!" The caption that accompanies a photo of the entertainer and actress Leah Remini pouting in a car also said that they were rear-ended but that everyone was safe.
