If you are a fan of the Land Rover, it looks like next year you will
have the option to buy the brand-new 2016 Land Rover Range Rover Sport
HST. The HST limited edition model is going to give car shoppers a lot
more choices when they looking for vehicles next year. For the most
part, Land Rover has always been an upgraded, mid-range SUV, coming with
plenty of features and luxurious options. If you are thinking about
upgrading to the brand-new Land Rover next year, pricing and
availability of it will be available later this year.
As far as
features go, HST model features an exceptional 380 hp, 3.0 L
supercharged V-6 engine that fits nicely in between the the entry-level
340 hp sport model and the very high-end 550 hp sport model that comes
with the 5.0 supercharged V-8 engine. One of the most popular features
for the exterior vehicles these days is darkened exterior lights and
dark grey satin finish that is replacing many of the parts that used to
come in chrome. The HST limited edition is not any different, and will
feature the darkened exterior lights, a Santorini Black contrast roof
and new spoiler giving in a sportier look.
On the inside of the
HST limited edition, you will find Oxford leather with a black headliner
adding to the luxurious feel an overall comfort. When thinking about
the new Land Rover, other vehicles come to mind. The BMW X5, Jeep Grand
Cherokee SRT, Mercedes-Benz M-class and the Porsche Cayenne. According
to reports that is going to be the target competition when the Land
Rover Sport arrives next year.
If you hook up the 380 hp
supercharged V-6 engine, that model will come with the ZF 8 speed
automatic transmission as well. The upgraded chassis has been tuned for
sharper responses in the corners while the single speed transfer case
and Torsen differential distribute power. As far as technology goes the
Land Rover comes with a Terrain Response system, which adjusts your
suspension, throttle settings, steering and comes with a unique “dynamic
mode” program specifically for the HST model.
Other additions to
the interior look and feel include ebony trim on the leather seats, HST
badges on the dashboard and carpeting and paddle shifter and pedals
that are metal plated. All the interior trim that is aluminum has been
given a textured finish as well. According to reports, Land Rover is
going to be at the New York auto show to introduce enhancements to the
rest of the 2016 Range Rover line up, which includes engine upgrades and
other technology.
