HTC One M9—The Latest Rumored Specs Revealed

We’ve already heard a ton of rumors surrounding HTC’s next flagship phone, offering what may be a near-complete description of the upcoming handset. Now, an updated list of specs claims to reveal exactly what the device will offer.
We’ve already heard a ton of rumors surrounding HTC’s next flagship phone, offering...

According to Upleaks, which has been a pretty good source for HTC rumors so far, the new phone will come equipped with a 5-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 20.7-megapixel rear camera, a 13-megapixel or 4-UltraPixel front-facing camera and a 2840mAh battery. It’s also expected to run Android 5.0 with new Sense 7.0 software on top. The device will apparently come in gray, silver, gold and gunmetal gold color options and launch sometime in March 2015.

If some of those specs seem a little disappointing, at least if you’re expecting a UHD display, but don’t forget that HTC is also said to be working on a Prime variant with a bigger screen and more power under the hood. Rumor has it the Prime model could even launch first, with a regular flagship phone arriving soon afterward.

Another big question is what HTC will call its next smartphone. We wouldn’t be surprised to see the company stick to its current naming scheme with a One (M9), though Upleaks claims we could get an HTC Hima instead. Either way, it looks like the upcoming handset could be another strong entry from the Taiwanese phone-maker.
