Major League Soccer invites additional nine college seniors to 2015 adidas MLS Player Combine


That's the number of college seniors invited by Major League Soccer to the annual adidas MLS Player Combine after the nine additions announced by the league on Wednesday.

The adidas MLS Player Combine, which is attended by each of the 20 MLS coaching staffs, takes takes place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida from January 8-13 and features three doubleheader matchdays.

MLS previously unveiled a list of 55 college seniors back on December 11 as chosen by a mix of collegiate soccer head coaches and MLS academy personnel which makes all the Combine's senior selections.

Generation adidas underclassmen signings and other youth internationals are expected to be announced before the start of the Combine.

The list is now up to 64 and counting.

The following are the names of the nine seniors added Wednesday (in alphabetical order):

Stefano Bonomo (FW / University of California, Berkeley)
Dzenan Catic (MF-FW / Davenport University)
Ricky Garbanzo (FW / Coastal Carolina University)

Spencer Richey (GK / University of Washington)
Axel Sjoberg (DF / Marquette University)
Zach Steinberger (MF / Butler University)
