Samsung Galaxy Note Edge comes to US Cellular for $400 on contract

Samsung's curved-screen Galaxy Note Edge smartphone arrives at US Cellular this week, and warning: it isn't cheap. The $400 on-contract handset aims to the superpremium end of the price continuum, not only for its high-end specs (which are virtually identical to the less costly Note 4), but also because of its edgy design.

Shoppers can pick up the Note Edge starting January 7, either on contract or off-contract over 20 monthly installments of $41, for an all-in price of $820 when it's all been said and done.

The Note Edge boasts some impressive specs, including a 16-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, but it's the separate interface controls on the rounded strip that gives the Edge its appeal to early adopters of shapely phones.
