Now Is The Time To Look At A 2015 Chevrolet Malibu Or Buick Encore, Says Edmunds

We’ve spilled a great deal of ink on the new, 2016 Chevrolet Malibu. From what we’ve deduced it seems like the sleek new Chevy will be able to go shot-for-shot with the best from Ford, Kia, and Toyota. However, there is also one tiny problem with the new car: it doesn’t go on sale until later this year.

And that may be an issue for some prospective buyers, particularly those nearing the end of a lease term. In that case, we have good news for you: The current, eight-generation Malibu is now one of the best April lease deals, according to the monthly roundup from Edmunds.

Keen to unload the current car before the new model hits, Chevrolet is now offering a 2015 Malibu for just $179 a month for 36 months with just $1,969 due at signing. You’ll be limited to 30,000 miles and you’re probably best to still within that framework– extra miles cost 25 cents.

The deal is limited to current GM lessees or owners and the offer ends at the end of the month.

Looking for something with a touch more space and ground clearance? Buick is also offering generous rates on the Encore, which can now be had for just $199 a month for 24 months with nothing due at signing. The deal covers just 20,000 and, like the Malibu, you’ll be out of luck if you wait until May.

The current Malibu might not be as stylish as the incoming vehicle but, hey, at least you can drive happy knowing you’re in an award-winning vehicle.
